Today, all day from 8-5:30, people wearing traditional clothing of their region or their country walk to the plaza de Pilar and offer flowers to be put and added to this statue of chicken wire of the Virgin of Pilar. This started off empty this morning and was just a statue of chicken wire. It's amazing how many flowers they can fit on there and I believe this photo was taken before 12! (I stole this photo from the Pilar Facebook Page because I haven't officially gone to see it in person yet and I didn't want to wait until tomorrow to post about it since today is the official day of Pilar.) SO beautiful!!
